What is your favorite turkey BH and why?

Thanks!

Goshawkin

Out of a heavy bow,big 160 Snuffers. Why? BIG hole

katman

Large snuffers in the past, going to try Big Jim's 300gr vpa, 1 1/2" wide, this season.
shoot straight shoot often

Birdbow

I'm another who likes BIG heads for turkey. Small kill zone makes maximizing the cut important. Snuffers and (recently) Centaur heads get the nod.

A simplification of means and an elevation of ends is the goal. Antoine de St.-Exupery

Flingblade

I've used snuffers and Simmons Tigersharks with a bleeder.  This year I will be using the Simmons Treeshark.  Not a shot you hear much talk about but if you can shoot 'em in the hip they don't go anywhere.  They can't fly because they can't run or jump into the air and they can't run.

jkm97

Snuffers this season for me.

Orion

I've been using woodsmans lately with good results.

Jayrod

Simmons tigersharks as always for me!!!

Hitting them with large 160 gr Snuffers...is similar to George Foreman hitting a heavy bag.

Whip

I like a 3 blade.  Mostly have been Woodsman's or Woodsman Elite.

The VPA 1 1/4" three blade is all I've used for the last few years....I've killed a bunch of turks with them...

I used a  Simmons tree shark on my first bird he went all of 3 feet and fell over dead.... last years birds fell to bear greenies those birds made it about 40-50 yards planning on using treesharks or interceptors this year

Bowwild

I'll be using a DeepSix head this year. There aren't many broadheads out there for this system. I may use the somewhat fragile-looking "Big Nasty" three blade for turkey though.

DarkTimber

Bowwild...Abowyer offers a deep 6 titanium broadhead adapter so you could use pretty much any glue on broadhead you like.  Not cheap but better than settling for a fragile broadhead

Bowwild

Thanks for that info DarkTimber!

Anyone ever try the gobbler guillotine out of a trad bow? Just curious if it would be worth trying. My concern would be having to draw or hold anchor until the head is clear for the shot. Otherwise a standard broadheads my ideal shot would be dead center in the fan from behind?

Just curious as I haven't hunted turkey in atleast 15 years and never with the bow before. Tryin to maximize my chances.

Guru, do you use a string tracker too? I'm going to try using the ST this year with my Stickland's Stick bow. Good luck!
