That feeling you get pulling into camp pre season... everything has been ready from wood being split and under the porch to your quiver and hunting arrows on the bow... all waits for opening morning to dawn.


Days before the season opens at camp, New hunting arrows tuned, groups are tight from lots of shooting... you are where you want to be!

I love loading my hunting quiver with the new arrows for a season soon the arrive...

That especially still frosted morning when the beauty of the sunrise overwhelms the desire to scan every area for the slightest glimpse of brown movement...

 

Motionless you simply stare and look... mentally describing the details to yourself in such a way as to hope these moments will linger true enough somewhere  within you...

First deer to be taken with trad equipment.
