I have two Bitz jigs that are about 30 years old and still going strong.

I have a Bitz, and its probably the best out there, but I also have 2 JoJan multifletchers, and like Bisch, they are all I use anymore to fletch up my arrows, and if it aint broke, I wont fix it.

Started with a Bitz.  Maybe there are better jigs, but I saw no reason to change. It has worked well for me.

I bought my first jig over thirty years ago from a shop that was going out of business.  It was a Bitz with a left wing helical clamp that to the best knowledge of the shop owner at least thirty years old then.

That makes my first Bitz over sixty years old and it works as well now as it did then.  I bought a second Bitz a few years ago, it is probably more precise and I don't need to change the nock receiver to go from three to four fletch.

Oddly enough I always use the old one.

Bitz. By using fletch tape I can do a dozen arrows in under an hour and that is fine by me.

Another long time Bitzenberger user. If you're fletching a lot of arrows in a hurry, the JoJan multi is tough to beat, but I prefer ole 'tried N true' places each feather on the shaft exactly as it did the last one, and will do the next one. Cleans up easily, and have yet to hear of a Bitz wearing out.  :D

Bohning jig works great. I'm fletching arrows right now!

I use only Bitzenburger jigs in my shop.  They work flawlessly and will for years.  They do wear out if you do a lot of fletching but for the hobbyist they will last a lifetime.  I fletch several thousand dozen arrows a year and my current table is six years old and doing fine.  I do expect to start replacing clamps and indexers within the next five or six years as they become worn.

This one I built to replace a table that was pushing 20 years old as well as I could figure.  They are one fine tool.

I have a BPE. I tried a JoJan with left helical clamps. It worked fine but it put a lot of twist , more then the BPE. I tried to adjust it to put less on but then the base of the feather didn't sit properly. Both jigs work fine. I'd go with the JoJan if you like a lot of twist though.
