everyone I own, hunt all year. They are all Silvertip recurves and shoot the same arrow so I can pick any one of them and just go hunt. I just got a Harrison Siberian longbow and it will be used also and it shoots the same arrow as the Silvertips.

Too many bows to stick with only one but Most have the same poundage and use the same arrows.

I start out with a 54@28 and drop to 50@28 Morrison Shawnee when the weather gets cold.

Depends on what mood I'm in, I have four recurves that are all set up. I shoot all of my bows so there are no surprises. Although lately it has been all Silvertip. Ah, so many bows and so little time!

bruinman

I seem to find a way to work in at least two, and sometimes three.

Pointer

I use one and I'll usually have a backup in the truck because my favorites tend to be the old Bears and though I've never broken one I guess I cant be surprised if a 40 year old limb eventually gives up the ghost.

30coupe

I alternate between my Kanati and my Orion, usually by the weekend, sometimes by the day. I shoot both of them the same, so either one will do the job. I don't want either one hanging around getting lonely.    ;)

I use a 1/4" socket when I am turning that size bolts, and a 3/4" socket when I am turning that size bolts.  I use a saw to cut wood and sandpaper to make it smooth.

I have several bows and use them as I feel the need, for a given problem or thing I am trying to achieve, like the tools that they are.

LittleBen

Usually one bow for the season. This year I switched it out after I got a deer.

Although switching between bows can be trouble, I try and keep the speed of all the bows I shoot within 10fps or so, that way point on distance is similar/same. Just adjust arrow weight a little, although most of mine are 43-48# so it's not much difference.

joe skipp

Three bows...I alternate between my RH Kempf longbow and LH Fedora recurve. Towards the end of the season, I break out the Groves Spitfire.

Like Pointer, I always carry a backup bow with me no matter where I'm hunting. You just never know...

Deer hunting. One, Howard Hill.  Rabbit hunting, mostly Howard Hill but play with my 57 Kodiak on occasion.

ISP 5353

Usually just one, but if the weather turns really bad I do have a different bow that I use.

Thumper Dunker

I hunt all year long I have five bows that I hunt with . Close in poundage and all shoot the same arrows. Some times take two one for the morning and one for the afternoon. Bows are like fishing rods, you need(want)one for each situation.

I usually hunt the whole season with the same bow.    :archer2:

Bowwild

Like Felix wrote, all but one of my bows is very close in draw weight to the others. I can shoot the same arrow out of most of them.

However, I have more confidence in a couple.

OBXarcher

I have killed with 6 different bows in one season. Pretty much all the bows I owned that year.
