BOHO

I have found a 60" Griffin longbow thats 44@28. I was wondering for those of you that are familiar with them if it would draw to my 29.5 draw without stacking? Thanks

I shot a 60" at 29 without any issues.

Cyclic-Rivers

I have the same bow only 46 lbs and only draw 29 inches.  I do not notice any stack.

In my opinion you'd be much happier with a 64". My draw length is similar to yours. I've owned both the 60" and the 64". I still have the 64".

Bear Heart

I have a 60" 50@28" that I draw to 29. No stack or finger pinch.

As far as I know, he is still making bows here in Michigan. I've always had my best luck asking questions like yours directly of the bowyer.

You won't believe how smooth they are til you draw one but at 30 there will be zero stack. Guaranteed!

Blackhawk

I agree with Izzy.  My buddy draws 30" and says my 60" is the best.  He was very impressed with the lack of stack at his long draw.

If you do buy it, but want to sell later, there are plenty of lookers for that bow out there.

Had several 60"s, 43 to 48@28. I draw 30" without any hint of stack. Talked to John about it several years ago and it's not a problem until you get into the heavier bows. You'll love it, the 60" bows almost feel smoother to me than the 64"s.

I don't think you'll have any problems at all.  I have owned several 58" models and they are super smooth at 28".  That design will really surprise you - my favorite longbows!

BOHO

I called John and he told me that a draw up to 29 it would be fine but any longer and I'd need a longer bow. I decided to pass on it.
