thanks guys, and its one of those that are "even better" in person.  The Cocobola is actually much more vivid in contrast.

At first I wasn't sold on the stain of the Curly Maple, but after looking at it more...  it just works with the Cocobola, and is a good color for my area of the woods for camo.

Todd the limbs are barley over 1" at the fades, best measurement is 1-1/16" on the shy side of the line.

I'd love to own a centaur.  Beautiful bow all around!  How does it compare to your Whips?  Sounds like the limbs are near equally narrow.

Matt,

Another beautiful bow from Jim! We have so many bowyers that are outstanding and Jim is certainly one at the top.

You mention a possible beaver tail grip so if you don't mind here my last one with a Big Jim grip he did a great job matching the unique contours of the Centaur even with the groves.

Everything I have and have become is due to the Lord and his great mercy.

gonna do some bare shaft tunning today.  Got the Selway quiver on it now,  really like the new strap system Selway uses.

Wow, 2 of my favorite woods. That coco is something special. Really nice!!!

Lamey

just took it out and did some bare shaft tuning, with 175 up front the CE 150's (30") fly perfect, as do the 3555's,  the 250s show a bit stiff but I kind of expected that if anything.

I stopped pretty quick as the 150s are just perfect at 30", and with 175 gr. heads they weigh in at 510 gr. which is perfect balance between weight and good long range flight etc.

I also want to add that bumping the brace from just at the 7" line to 7-1/4" made a big difference in silencing the bow.  This along with the Selway strapped on the bow have really put it in that REALLY quiet bow category.

Congrats on a beauty of a bow! That Coco is really sweet!
