Last week while on a late season cow elk hunt (with rifles  :o      ) I took some time out to hunt some cottontails with my two grandsons who came along on this hunt.

The older one on the right (ten)is Mister DIY!  He saw a youtube vid on building a pvc bow and as soon as christmas break started he set too building one.  It's not like he doesn't have any other bows, since I've built at least three for him!  His mom was afraid to let him use anything sharp to cut the string nocks so he sawed them in with a piece of para cord which then was used as the string.

On this hunt he had access to a .22, 17 HMR and a 20 gauge shotgun but he was dead set on taking a rabbit with his pvc bow!
