In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Now, let's see.  He posted that tag at 2:55 AM.  I guess he should be allowed some processing and sleep time.

It sure adds another reason for wearing a safety harness!

Congratulations!! Glad you are safe and I look forward to the story and pictures.  Tell us the full setup of your bow, arrow and broadhead, distance of shot, penetration, distance traveled...everything.  This is a great thread and thanks for taking us along.

Oh yeah!!!!

What a spectacular accomplishment!

As I said a few posts up, I've been glued to this one and checking it multiple times a day.  I just had a feeling with the pic of the last bear.  "Dead bear walking"....

Can't wait to read the details.  Rest and spend time reflecting on what God has provided.  We will be here.

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.

Great thread so far.... it's gonna get even better. Congrats!

Old Chief

Congratulations on your accomplishment and an excellent post so far.

X's everything already said    :readit:   But as for the safety harness. Where most of the new one seem to incorporate some means to allow you to descend, Mine would jack me up about 40' in the tree

Looking forward to the rest of the story and pictures, Great Accomplishment!
Everything I have and have become is due to the Lord and his great mercy.
