A local sportings good store has these on sell.  I thought about picking one up to use with my longbow for broad head testing.  It says it's recommended for bows up to 40lbs but I'm wondering if I could get by with my 53lb longbow since it's less efficient than a 40lb compound.  The price is right and the size seems perfect for the limited use that it'll see, especially since it'll be easier to store in my apartment.

Nobody try one yet? I might have to be a test dummy. I bet it would be fine.

I think that it would be fine...  I have an old block target that the wheel bows shoot through with no problem that will stop my 53# long bow, if set at a slight  angle.

I say go for it....

let us know how it works!
