posting smartphone pics

guys if anyone could give me a step by step way to post a pic here on tradgang from my smartphone?its a droid razor from motorola and a verizon acct i have a photobucket acct and see where it says share how do i do this its driving me NUTS!! any help  is appreciated i am not the greatest computer guy

you can't post right from phone, but if you go into photobucket from a computer you can grab and post.

okay how do i grab them from my photobucket acct and post here the easiet way?or put in a new or existing thread?

Awhile back I did a tutorial on adding pics from an iPhone....
Do a search on Pow wow with iPhone in the search under my name...maybe it will help...

Download the photobucket app and it's cake

Jarrod,

Download the Photobucket app for your phone. You can upload from your phone to Photobucket with it. Once the photos are uploaded, click on one of the photos. When it comes up, click the menu button on your phone and select View Links. Click on the IMG link. It will be copied to the clipboard. You can then paste it into a Tradgang post.

Hope this helps.

P.S. If you download the snapbucket app, you can upload the photos as you take them. They go to the Snapbucket album in Photobucket, so you can use the Photobucket app to get the links.

Copy and past the img code option from photo bucket.

Also check the trad gang comport section.

okay says copied to IMG how do i paste on tradgang post?

just paste that img code right in the message box and post it. the pic will then show up in your post

When you have it copied tap in the message box till the paste appears. Click paste and it will put the image link into the message. The image won't appear until you add the post or preview it.

my way is to push ctrl and v at the same time and it is there in code numbers,when you ad reply it shows up

if i press on img on my smartphone it says copied but do i have to be on TG to post it and where do i paste it from? i probably need to talk to someone so they can walk me through it!!

your smartphone should remember the copied image then so go onto ur browser to the tradgang page where you want to post, if ou have an iPhone then just tap in the message you are writing and the paste option should come up.

When u hit copy, it should say this



Hit ok then, go to tradgang and go the "post topic" or "reply to message" that you are trying to post a message on.

tap or double tap (whatever you have to do to pull up the paste button) and it should look like this



complete your message and add pics how you wish!

that took like 10 min total and i had to screen shot and upload the images to my album on PB. so once you get the hang of it, it's really simple.  hope this helped!

WOW THXS Laxbowmen very helpful for sure but since i dont have a apple iphone when i tap on img it says copied IMG then not sure what button i press on phone to get photo to show up but again thxs for help!!!
