Here's the next upload, number 3, for the Backcountry College series. Here we'll take a look at a cool way to use a little paracord and a few snaps to rig an easy block & tackle for hanging food, game quaters, or whatever you need to get off the ground while in the field. Don't forget to give it a thumbs up on the youtube channel.  Thanks, ch

Wow so simple of gear to make that system.

Like you said the down side is the paracord can be hard on the hands. Geuss you could always cut a short piece of wood to wrap the cord around as a handle when you pull up the weight.

Keep these videos coming, great stuff!

Thanks fellas.  If it's not to much trouble, drop the folks at  http://www.backcountryhunters.org  a line to let them know you're liking the vids.

Bowmag

Great idea for more than just hanging backs. Sure could have used that when I was gutting a caribou by myself.

No joke Bowmag, this little rig can be nearly as good as having someone there to help out.

Clay, nice video. If you have an elk down in a bad position is this enough to be able to move it? Can you add more carabiners for less drag and more leverage?
