What pound bow do you hunt with.

I thought I was the only one who dropped down in pounds...LOL...I went from 75-65...( then I hit 55)then bit the bullet and got into the 50-55 club...

now( ten years later) I have a set of 45# limbs...and also 55...TD's do have some advantages...

truth is the 45's are quite fine for deer...the heavier ones are for Elk...

I hunt with bows from 48- 52 #  and very sharp broad heads. I feel this weight is capable of any North American big game harvest.

Since there aren't many elephants in my neck of the woods, I stick to 45#-50#.

The distribution of the results is pretty interesting.  Looks like about 70% of us are between 45 and 55#.
