WV Opening Day Doe

Was a pretty hot opening day. Seen deer all day but no bucks. This one came by just before dark and I shot her. She dropped in her tracks with an accidental spine shot that penetrated through to one lung. She broke my first arrow falling on it. A quick follow up shot and she was finished quickly. I was impressed with the grizzly broadheads but made the mistake and used aluminum broadhead adapters. The first adapter snapped at the threads and the second one bent. Will use steel next time.

Really nice doe. I went for a little while Sat. morning after work and had a medium size doe and 2 fawns come under me but passed for now. A coyote howled across hollow and they really shagged out of there. Congrats on your deer.
