Where is a good place to buy a nice felt traditional archery hat?  Thank you!

I wear a Scala Outback wool fedora type hat that I got off of Amazon almost year round.  I bought it just to keep the sun off of my neck and because it's crushable (good for backpacking and bowhunting).  I get complimented on it all the time.

Or my favorite lucky traditional bowhunting hat.

Felt, huh?  That's tough.

I found a nice Finnish Army M-36 hat that is my favorite for winter bowhunting.

The sides pull down to cover your ears and the back of your neck when it really gets cold. ;-)

This one was from Beaver Creek Hat Co. in Jackson Hole. It's 8X beaver felt so it was a tad pricey. No folding this one up and putting in your pocket.

I had a real nice wool fedora from Hook and Bullet that had a real neat faded Realtree print on it.  Great hat but was a little too small for me so gifted it to my brother.  My latest hat of choice is a short brim Realtree baseball cap from Bob Lee bows.  The short brim stays away from the string.

Buffalo wool company. Check out their stuff. I love the gloves and beanie but they also have fedoras etc. worth a look!!

I cannot believe how warm the buffalo wool is!

x2 on searching for noggin tops.com or on amazon.

My felt hats are now vintage and the makers are no more. Another maker may make similar styles you just have to look around and some of these hat makers command a price for their quality hats.

One of my favorite styles is a reversible bucket style cloth hat. Have not seen those in stores or the hook and bullet catalogs in a long time.

Maybe Tradgang could bring back the bucket hat with the next order of logo hats  :)   :)

Check out Hats in the Belfrey . They have Boraslino's if you've got the dollars. It's what Fred Bear used if I'm not mistaken. They do have less expensive hats around 60.00 but the real deal is going to cost around 300.00

I bought my felt hat at Orvis, Field Trialer model. It similar to Fred Bear' s hat.
