Pup recurve

I just placed an order with Mike at Maddog for a pup recurve.  Its going to be for my four year old daughter (4 1/2 if you ask her).  Pink diamond wood with black glass and a red/black string.  Its going to be 18# @ 21".  Not sure what her draw length will be, but he thought she would be pulling around 8#.  

All this for $100!  Im not sure how long its going to take him to make this bow, but Im guessing more than 4 hours.  Mike is definitely not in it for the money.  

Mike also steered me to woodcrafter.com for some cheap 1/4" dowels  that make good kids arrows.  I got 100 dowels for under $30 including shipping.  She is going to be one to me when I start cresting and fletching some little pink arrows.  

I can't wait to see it.  The dilemma is going to be when to give it to her.  The plan now is hold off until her birthday in Dec or Christmas, but I doubt it will be able to sit in the closet that long.
