Today was my first time out with my new to me HH Big Five. After flinging a couple of arrows I noticed the rear of the arrow kicking up after release but would straighten out before impact on target at 10yds. Is this a low nock point?

I was concerned that the arrows are too stiff but it shot well other that the noticable kick after release.

Bow specs are 68" Big Five 42@27 I draw 30.5"
Arrows were FL 2018s with 145gr tip

Thanks
Ray

Did you try just nocking higher to see?

No I only had a couple of minutes this evening. Shot a couple of arrows and had to run. I will pop it off tomorrow, I just thought I would ask.

Could be either high or low, too high and it is bouncing up off the shelf. Shawn

Thanks Shawn. I was figuring it was a nocking issue and not spine. I have materials coming to make a new string this weekend. I will experiment with nocking points on the new string.
Thanks

Bare shaft tuning will help you find the problem.

Thank you Easykeeper. I was looking for that info last night but could not remember what sponsor had it.
