Thanks to Bill (WarDancer) and Danny (Ric O'Shay) a sweet 3 way deal happened fast.

Danny had  a '59 Kodiak Special I had my eye on.

Danny wanted to trade for a Hill or Northern Mist longbow.

Bill had a Northern Mist with stats that Danny was looking for.

I posted pictures for Bill of his bow in his ad and also PMed Danny the pictures.

This was yesterday.

Today I sent a PO Money order to Bill. Bill shipped his bow to Danny and Danny shipped his to me.

Sweet smooth fast deal.

Thanks Danny and Bill, great dealing with you guys.

Me and two other guys did a deal like which also involved a Northern Mist and a 59 Kadiak by Saxson that went smooth..... :)

Man, sounds like big league player trades!
Way to go, guys. I never thought of working things like that. Food for thought...

Sounds like a great deal all the way around! I go one step further when selling a bow. I normally provide my phone number to the buyer or seller so they feel confident in who they are dealing with and they can also call with any questions. Had some great conversations over the years with folks who post here.

Now that is the kind of "creativity" that is needed. Congrats to all parties.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

Did the same thing with a couple of pair of Zipper limbs....everyone was happy in the transaction!

Great story about ingenuity at work.

I bought, traded and sold over 400 bows over the Internet, nearly all through Tradgang. Now I just try my best to buy and sell through Tradgang.

I have never made a $ on a bow. I buy them right and then move them for what I paid. I usually just do it to try other bows.

I have made many friends buying, trading and selling on Tradgang. It isn't about money, it is about a win win deal.

This is the first time I ever did a three way deal and I couldn't have worked with any better than Bill or Danny.

If something happened to the deal I would drive out to them to make it right if I had to. I think most Tradgangers are like that.

I have sent many high end bows for a try and buy to Tradgangers and have never had any grief doing it.

Between the integrity and mutual respect of the members, that is what makes this site great. On other sites I have offered more than once to drive out to meet someone and not because I wanted to make the deal right. Here that doesn't happen.

Thank

Hope my wife doesn't hear that there are 3-ways happening on here.  She thinks I am on here too much the way it is!

Guys -
Gil took the initiative and got the ball rolling. I got in touch with Wardancer, let Gil know what I was doing and all three of us came to a quick meeting of the minds and "viola!" The deal was done. Stuff went from NJ to NM, NM to TX and from TX to NJ. Everything should arrive at their new owners and respective states on Thursday.

Buddy you know first hand what I am talking about as far as dealing with Tradgang members and members from other sites. This what a deal should be.

I can't help myself Old Bears, Harrison and NM longbows, perfect together! Ha!

Bill was willing to take a check but I had to get cash from my savings and a PO money order, so my boss wouldn't feel the pain and pass it on to me! Know what I mean!

Danny great deal. Bill too great to do a deal with.

I thought the trade deadline ended July 31st, oh yeah that is only in MLF LOL

My bad I don't know Bill but his stock went up no doubt. Dan's a rock since I started guest watching from the sidelines long before signing up. And your word's gold in my house.

Made me laugh re the Boss. Surprised you don't have a permanent case of raccoon eyes! She's gotta be the real deal too. Congratulations! Good for her & let her know.
