Here's some pics of some bone, that MR. Snuffer found, out in Wyoming, in an antelope shoulder! I shot about 3 inches right of my spot, heard a crack, goat (young buck)piled up 40-50 yds later. 53# @30" Black Widow MA-II, built for me June 1999, 30" goldtip trad XT, 30" plus aluminum nock reciever, and weight tubes, bohning sig. nock, 3-4" shield shape wild turkey fletch of me own killin and makin', 125gr screw in Snuffer...total weight on reloading scales is 495.4 gr., 9.347 gr. per pound of pull...No idea what this bow chrono's at? Fun stuff!!!

Entrance wound side...

Back side of that shoulder blade

Top of bone on exit side...broadhead seperated this joint, in the shoulder, and stopped just inside the hide on exit side...pretty good slice in heavy bone.

You'll notice the "luckiest" elk hunters have worn out boots.

I hope I can get the same performance out of my Razorcaps.

Looks like you had to be awfull close to pushing right through that shoulder blade.

Boy howdy that must have made one heck of a sound!  You must of been some relieved when you saw him pile up in 50 yards.

I cannot tell from the photos; was the tip of the snuffer needle sharp or tapered off ?
Congrats on the killing shot  :)
THE VOICES HAVEN'T BOTHERED ME SINCE I STARTED POKING THEM WITH A Q-TIP.

The snuffer DID push thru that shoulder blade, and into the far side joint, that contained that round bone in the other pics!!!

It was tapered some, but not to the extreme? Apparently enuff, as it did not curl, like some I've seen in the past, that were needle sharp! Gotta love big nasty gaping chest wounds!!!
