I've searched and found many beautiful quivers but can't find any home made strap on.
Anyone build their own?

I have a 7-arrow one piece bolt-on that I converted into a strap-on.  I have 2 of the same model quivers and use one as a bolt-on on my recurve, and the other as a strap-on on my longbow.

For reference, here it is on the recurve:

And here's my modified strap-on version:

Life is a whole lot easier when you just plow around the stump.

its not a shrew edge but for my first attempt it functions perfectly and looks OK

Goshawkin

A guy in CT used to build these. I got a couple from him probably 15-20 years ago. Simple design, would be easy to make and they work great.

Fanto

goshawkin that is a neat quiver thanks for posting

cheers

Goshawkin, any detailed pics on how that was made?
I'd love to give it a go.

I built one to go on my Mojo Stiks.I built my own hood, used EFA talons,a Delta 7 center shaft and adapted a Great Northern 5 arrow gripper to it.A lot of work and expense but it is quiet, light, holds the arrows exactly the angle I like and they are as close to the bow as is possible.

Beautiful quiver Jim. Thanks for the picks.
I'd like to do something from scratch to keep the cost down.  Thanks again.

You could make most of it.The tough part is the arrow gripper.Vulcanized rubber doesn't lend itself to be cut or drilled smoothly. Most grippers are injection molded.

DarkTimber

Jim...that's one sharp looking quiver.

White Falcon

Here is one I made, Velcro strap!

What's the best way to attach the strap to the hood?
