Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.

Here is a doe taken in November of 2012.  Used my 45# 1969 Super Kodiak, Satellite carbon arrow and a 2 blade Zwickey Eskimo broadhead.

Here's the buck I took from the ground at 12 yards in the Michigan late bow season.  We receive a foot of snow overnight that night and this buck was heading out to feed in the orchard an hour before dark.  The bow I shot him with is a refinished 1971 Super Kodiak.

Here's the before and after pictures of the bow. It took about 20 hours to refinish, but well worth it to bring it back to like new. It's now sporting a period correct 4 arrow quiver and Microflite arrows with Bear Razorheads.

Here's one from 1969, a 43# Bear Grizzly.

The last one I killed with Bear equipment was in 2008, a 45# Kodiak Hunter.
