I broke my right arm(I am right handed)just at the elbow seven weeks ago. I also sprained my wrist to the point that it would have been better if it had broken. A lot of things have gone through my mind since my accident and of course the biggest worry was whether or not I would be able to shoot a bow again. I haven't been to work since then and today I was feeling frisky. I strung up a 35lb bow lent to me by a friend so that I could ease back into shooting. I shot a couple of warm up shots not fully drawing just to test the waters. All was well so far in fact only slight discomfort which soon subsided. I then took all six of the arrows that were lent with the bow and shot this group in my apartment at roughly yards give or take. I'm back!

You are back! Slow but sure now. My son lives in Mission Viejo . What do you guys hunt out that way?
When a man shoots with a bow it is own vigor of body that drives the arrow,  his own mind controls the missile's flight......His trained muscles and toughened thews have done the work

VictoryHunter

Thanks Wannabe1 I'm definitely taking it easy. It's a struggle though, I want to shoot all the time! Thanks John! Lots of small game, pigs, and deer. In fact archery deer season opened this past weekend! The management in this state is terrible though. I'm waiting to hunt whitetails at home in Tennessee!

Glad to hear it...go slow and don't overdo.

VictoryHunter

Thanks y'all! I will be sure to take it slow. I have one more appointment at the docs on monday so hopefully he will clear me for work! I can't take this any longer, I'm going crazy. I have watched every single hunting video I own plus some and now I'm all out!

May your next adventure lighten your heart, test your spirit, and nourish your soul.

I'd like to get my groups like that. Don't think I'll try breaking my arm to see though!

Hope your recovery is quick!
