A big part of my career at UC Davis was as an admissions officer. It's strange to think that I had a small part in admitting the two (then) kids who began Sitka years ago. The guy who founded Kuiu, Jason Hairston, also went to Davis, played football there. The placed produced some serious athletes, but also produced some serious hunters! They're good kids, and do the heritage and traditions proud!
