Kustom King Trailmaker Broadheads???

Killed 2 deer with them last season, they shipped to me fairly sharp & look to be top quality. I liked them, mine were the screw in model. Nice broadheads

I am proud to say I killed the first whitetail with KK's Trailmaker.  It is my favorite 3 blade head, the ONLY one I can get shaving sharp. Very durable, very well made, of high quality.

To what do you attribute your ability to get this head shaving sharp, blade angle, steel quality or??

I have a couple of other three blade brands that I can get sharp, but not as sharp as my STOS for instance.

I echo Rogers comments on the Trailmaker.  They are easy to sharpen because of the grind angle, blade angle and the quality of the steel. I can sharpen them easier than a two blade head and they pop hair off the back of my wrist.  

I've got a picture of a doe similar to Rogers, high entry and low off shoulder exit.  There was all kinds of blood covering the side of the deer coming from the high wound (even though I had an exit bottom too).  On another large doe shot a year ago, the broadhead imbedded in the off shoulder and I just had the high entrance.  I had a great blood trail for the 80 yards that she ran.  Pulled the head out of the shoulder ball, touched up on the diamond stone and it was as good as new.

That is what I was thinking when I looked at the picture of them.  Looks like a VPA with vents.
