I was finally able to get out and shoot my new TallTines.  All I can say is all the "old timers" are right...longer is better!  I decided to try a 64" rather than my standard 60".  I do not see any disadvantage.  As far as the Food Network; every time I draw it, I hear Paula Dean say "Butt-ahhh".

The riser is Chechen and Maple and the limbs are as gorgeous a Myrtle as I have seen.  My son has a Lacrosse tournement all weekend, but I should be able to sprinkle in more pics during breaks in the action.  Brian did a superb job as always

I was wondering about the title? Good metaphor!

I really hate it that you think of me as an "old timer"!  There was a time--LF

Nice bow! I too like the feel of a longer bow. Recurve or longbow. Current recurve is 64", smooth as "Butt-ahhh" is right!

Lefty Fred, I am sure Mitten is saying the same thing    ;)    He is always singing the praises of the long recurve. This baby feels so good I have already made the call to get back on the list for another that is not quite so fancy that I won't feel guilty beating up.

Dealing with Wessel is so easy. I tell him the length and weight I am looking for and basically brown, black, or red for color and tell him to pick what he thinks is best for woods...the guy has an incredible eye for what is inside those blocks of wood.

" All I can say is all the "old timers" are right...longer is better!" That`s what SHE said. Ha!  Nice bow.

That's a beauty Steve. Too pretty to shoot! I'm with you. I like them longer as well. Generally at least 62 inches.

Steelhead

I got 2 64 inch TT curves.
Awesome feeling bows.

Nice looking bow Steve, but your in dire need of a few matching Thunderhorn bow quivers.

I can't understand Brian letting you adorn his handiwork with some of the contraptions I've seen  :^))))

WOW, that a nice one.....I have a 64" Zipper, I know what you mean about longer recurves     !!
