That's why we only hunt turkeys till 1 PM daily in Missouri.

Man needs time to hunt morels and crappie fish after sitting in a bow blind all morning   ;)

I have'nt seen any here in Michigan yet. Seems they are running a bit late. I can't wait till they pop,man they really are the best. I egg wash them, lightly flour them, pan fry in butter. Salt&pepper. rat'

I found 63 on Tuesday evening. Nothing better than a springtime meal of fried morels and crappie.

I would love to try them. What kind of woods do you find them in?

2Blade, I normally find most of mine on the southwest side of a point on a ridge running north and south. Good stuff!

Tickbait

I found 23 in about an hour this past week in PA.  Around dead elm trees is where I find them here.  Eric.
