It's a great idea, I've done it in the past, but as Terry says, let them make sure it's all set with St. Jude's first.  Last year they had to get the paypal thing worked out.  This is a tremendous undertaking by the moderators and St. Judes Tradgang team behind the scenes, so be patient.   Also, add a item to the auctions or bid high when they start.  Lot's of ways to help.

This is a great idea, Let me recommend paypal if possible.

Sending 40,000 checks to an organization presents a monumental clerical burden that will cost money. Pay pal is likely much more efficient because it doesn't require each check to be endorsed and deposited by a humna being.

It's easier to get 1,000 separate $20 donations than wait for one $20,000 bid.            

It really is the most effective alternative we have towards raising some real money for the kids.  Every dollar DOES COUNT.

The auction is great and I love to participate, but there is far more strength ... and potential in the shear numbers at tradgang. Let's do this guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree 150%.  There should be much more participation than what we see!

Granted, the economy has had an affect on us all, but just $ 20 odd is all we are asking here for the kids!
