Jim,

You make a wonderful bow. Not sure if an ILF set up would appeal to me.  In business you have to diversify as long as it doesn't dilute your core offerings.

Great Idea.
The market desire is there.
Hope it's a great success for you

Always looking for good ilf choices - both for risers & limbs - anything thats smooth fast & forgiving would be great - don't think there are many RD LB limbs out right now - M

Jim i think it would be something many archers would beinterested in.I think some guys like more mass weight in thier risers and dont shoot the light mass weight bows as well.

A Centaur ILF limb would appeal to this customer base as well as fellows who just like ILF and its adjustability and versatility.

If you could produce a limb that riveled your one piece bow for ILF shooting it would make for a superb bow no doubt in my mind.

Thier are not as many choices in a radical hybrid style longbow limb as thier are for recurve limbs. Not even close.

I think it would fill a niche thier.

Good luck with your marriage coming up by the way and all the best to you and your bride to be:) !!!

I am Happy for you!Maybe you could build her the 1st set of limbs?

JJ1956

I would love to try a pair, need more longbow choices

Lamey

honestly would rather see a 3 piece version of your already kick ass longbow.

Moots

It would certainly open up a broader market for you.

The option I would appreciate most is to be able to simply order a bow longer than 62".

Best of luck!

Yes.  ILF is the fastest growing segment of "traditional" archery, and will be for some time.  The more risers that are out there, the more people are going to want plug in new limbs, especially ones having quality and performance of yours.

ermont

I agree with Lamey. A three piece Centaur would be awesome.

Crash

Not being a bowyer, don't know if it's faster to just build limbs, but if it is and you could just add in the ILF limbs and keep your current waiting time where it is on your current longbows, then why not?  If not, there would need to be a better margin on the ILF limbs or your not really gaining anything if the wait times extend.  Just my non-business owning, non-bow building 2 cents.  At the end of the day, you need to do what will satisfy you.  All the best either way.

A ILF to me personally is a step toward or back to a compound with all the adjustment's. A trad bow to me is one you string up, check the brace and nock....then go shootin. Not my cup of tea, and purely only my small opinion. But if you tackle it I am sure it will be top notch. I wish you the best on it !!

Its just a limb attachment that lets you customize the bow a little to your shooting style.  Trust me it really doesnt make shooting or your accuracy go to compound levels. Plus once you set it its basically just a take down recurve.  Plus back in the day people used sights and rests on trad bows , there was even mechanical heads, release aids etc...   So not a step back just a great system that allows you to enjoy and truely customize your bow to your liking. If you havnt shot one, give it a try.

I love a superb one piece like the centaur.  I could care less about an ilf.

The market may be seriously challenged by something unique yet to transpire.

All the best..........

Hopefully you can make them not noodle like most other ILF longbow limbs. If you can do that they will be great.

I'm not an ilf guy either, but I don't understand some of you. If you don't like the concept, then why respond to this topic at all?

It's not like he is twisting your arm to go ilf.

I bet for every 1 shooter who don't like them, there will be several standing in line to have them, and those who get them will 99.9% be very happy.

An ILF is just a traditonal bow with adjustability. Its no different than any other trad bow other you have adjustability and a plethora of limb optioons to choose from. You can fine tune it to your desired taste as far as feel&performance at your draw length and poundage adjustments within 4-5 pounds can be desirable for an archer. No big deal really.
Not at all compound like IMO and not very challenging to set up with some basic knowledge and guidelines to go by.

yup, I dont under stand the issues with them. There are only benefits. Once I have money I can spend freely I plan on ordering a new ILF set up (just sold mine  :(   )
