now what made me cry was the guy told me the old lady had broken up and thrown out at least a dozen bamboo fly rods with one being a Winchester!!!! he said he jumped in the dumpster and was able to keep a few of the old reels but the rods were all broken....

Are you kidding me??? I just had an old 3 wt bamboo flyrod restored that I found in a ladys attic,,,(the heat destroyed them),. But trust me,,I was happy to find and restore it!! Its not my Sage nor G. Loomis,,,but its fun to fish and be making memories with and wonder on its history,,

Great find Ken!
I have had the privilege of owning Grizzlys from many years. 1967's are great bows.  I really like the grip.  They are pretty easy to quiet down too.  That's going to make a fine bow!

He was right, Ken, it is a '67.  Be prepared for a thrill when you shoot it.  I have a '67 Grizzly also and they are great shooting bows with an excellent grip profile.  Much better bows than the round fronts, IMO.  Great find, man, Congratulations.

Lots of other goodies, too.

The broadheads are Razorback 4's and yes, the plastic ferrule was made to rotate.  They were made in a 5 blade model.  Instead of changing individual blades, the whole cartridge was replaced.  They were popular for a few years.  Satellites had an aluminum ferrule with individual blades and did not rotate.

... and I was thinking he got the archery gear for free and had to pay to drag that Woop rag out of the house!     :biglaugh:

Sorry, I'm an old Boat School guy and couldn't resist.  Nice score on the gear!
