One day, when it was 90F, i decided to take a canoe trip down the little river behind camp.
Here are the pics.
Came to a beaver dam....

got out, pulled the canoe up and over it, paddled on, had to pull over 2 more, then it got too windy, so I turned back.

coming back was a hoot, I paddled like mad and dropped the 4 feet to the other side   :)  
Got stuck, so I tried aga  in.

One nite we had the timber wolves howling, we talked back for a bi t, it was pretty cool.

Jim, heading thru thru the spruce and muskeg.We cleared the trail the day before with chainsaw and pruners.
One for Killy, black spruce at their finest. :)

Yeah Serge, archery only in 29 is 15 guys for a bull tag...lol!!!
maybe 24 again won't be that bad after all? It surely won't be another crappy summer. If it was normal it would be lots of berries,no bugs and dry ground.

Yep,sounds good to me too.We have a decent starting point now,and a lot of waterways to float,this might be the way sir.
