Well it took me two days of begging and convincing my wife a bear would not eat me before I gave Ryan the word. My wife is the best when it comes to letting me do what I want but when I mentioned " BIG BEARS " she said " I don't think so " !!! I guess she missed that bear rug on the wall of my man cave. I assured her Ryan would keep me safe and she said " do what ya got to do " ... so I did.

I look forward to having a fun time and sharing it with all of you, bear or no bear. It will be good to be in the Canadian woods again !!

I'm sure glad that you jumped on this before I saw it Kenny.  I am easily tempted, and this would have been VERY hard to put out of my mind.  I am really trying hard not to do stuff like this while trying to save for a moose hunt maybe next year.  You saved me from myself!

Have a great time, and tell your wife big bears are safer than little ones because they don't climb trees as well.

Geez I'm glad I helped so many of you guys out by jumping on this hunt first ... Good luck getting lined up on a good moose hunt Joe, that one is on my bucket list but I think I'll need some better ankles first.

Appreciate all the encouragement, I'm really excited and look forward to the BIG BEAR hunt .... I'm now in the process of picking out all my lucky underwear to take on the hunt. I'll be sure to take my St Judes T shirts, my TGMM T shirts, and my Snoopy Valentines boxers that should  bring me some luck and "it's sometimes better to be lucky than good"
