Any of you have or tried one? How's the hand shock in these bows? Are they quiet, forgiving, smoothness? I'm liking the idea of buying an unfinished bow and finishing it myself. Price is right and you get to start out with a blank canvas, kinda personalize it for yourself. Oh I'm more interested in the R/D bows. Thanks guys, Walt.

I had one quite a few years back that was built by Mike. It was very quiet and a real nice shooter. Hand shock wasn't noticable to me. Nice bows!

I also have one Mike built. Love it!

Mike makes a great bow. Mine has no hand shock, excellent preformance, great craftmanship and Mike is a super guy to deal with.

No handshock, one of the best mild R/D performers out there and you would be hard pressed to find a quieter bow. I have owned several, I am a recurve guy but have something in mind for my daughter, just have to get some funds together!! Great bows, I really like the Short Night!! Shawn

Got a r/d blank to make a double shelf. I like it and no complaints. Fun to finish project too.

If you search my posts you will see a Hill-style blank I finished.  Mike will set you up for success with a nice blank.

You're going to love that blank.  I've finished several. These blanks have replaced my entire inventory of Custom bows.  I also have one of the first SF Carolina Nights Mike built.  Great bow.
