turkey question

This will be my first year hunting turkeys and I have a question - about how long is a turkey's leg from ground to bottom of body.  I'm trying to get a frame of reference for a secondary aiming point.  Thanks, Alan

Varies but actuall body not what ya see is around 8" give ot take depending on the size of the bird. Shawn

Depends on a lot.  Anywhere from 0-8" depending on the birds feathers, strutting, just out of strut, the motion at the moment in walking, ground, etc etc. Not sure you are going to get a consistent reference point.
If we're not supposed to eat animals ... how come they're made out of meat? ~anon

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.
