Ha ha Im guilty myself for saying this all the time referring to arrow flight.

But have you guys ever seen the flight of a dart in slow motion?

You do "Not" want it to "fly like a dart"

No, I haven't ever seen a dart flying in slow motion.

But, I have seen an arrow flying in slow motion, and it ain't purty either!

I have heard this before,I think guys make to much out of it.If you look at a dart thrown to a target.It doesn't fishtail or porpoise or kick left or right,it flys straight to the target or where you aimed it.Maybe thats why alot of guys say they flew like darts.

Depends on the person throwing the dart I guess. I prefer mine to fly like rockets.

I have always hated that saying.  Darts fly in a slow arc.  Not for me.  I've always prefered "like a laser beam."
