Stolen bow

I had my compound bow stolen from my car when I was out scouting for deer. I it was  2 weeks before hunting season I grabbed my old Ben Pearson colt and started too practice with it that was 20 years ago. I have over 70 recurves and longbows. I look back at the day when they stolen my compound out of my car it was  the best thing that could of happened to me.

The person who stole your bow better hope you never find him. He would definitely be held responsible for the "traditional addiction" that he caused. At over 70 bows that could be expensive.

Funny, but that particular compound is now obsolete, while your trads are still living strong. THEY ALWAYS WILL. Now that is ironic.

Sounds to me like he is still costing you money but may have saved you in the long run. Think how much you would of lost in resale if you had bought a new latest and greatest compound for the last twenty years like some people do.

On the other hand I'm thinking about suing the guy on craigslist that sold me three old Bear bows three years ago. Started an addiction that made me buy over 400 others since. Seems like I should be entitled to some kind of compensation.

Sounds to me like the stolen compound resulted in some very nice "unintended consequences".

Forgive and forget,besides I bet that guy has had enough punishment already.Probably been shooting compounds for the last twenty years since he took yours. Can't think of a much harsher punishment than that!   :D

Sorry about your loss, but I think it was a good thing. Maybe next they will steal someones inline smoke pole. Primitive hunting indeed. teehee
