Good luck with the surgery and recovery!  I would think you could still handle a laptop or desk top, unless hanging around here will make drawing a bow too soon a temptation you can't resist.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Good Luck, Joe
Hope the surgery goes well and you're back in action real soon.

You will be fine

All you need is lots of ice, PT, and patients. Oh, and don't forget to let your loved ones know that this will required a great deal of TLC.

You will be back to   :archer2:   soon.

May God help you to recover fast. Painfull rehad but just do it and remember Jesus suffered a lot more then you ill. That helps me endure pain when I think I cannot take anymore.

Hang in their Joe. I'll put in a prayer for your rapid and complete recovery.

You already know what a bummer it is to be on restrictive shooting.  I had to forgo shooting hunting bows (over 20 pounds) for nearly 9 months back in 2009. Then one day in early August the shoulder was pain-free, without surgery.

Joe will keep you in our prayers. Best of luck.
Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.

I wish you much success with the surgery. Get well quick.

Just do like I do and type with one finger.

Yeah, its not a pleasant procedure and does take awhile to heal.  But the results will be worth it: you'll be able to sleep on that side again, reach across your chest and behind your back, all that stuff.  Mine was about a year and a half ago.  The doc was great at surgery, crappy at the rest.  Like everyone says, DO THE THERAPY!!
Good luck my friend,
