Great story my friend! I am proud of both of you. Having your wife along as a real partner hunting has to be one of the coolest things ever. My wife has been elk hunting with me twice, and I hope some day she is the shooter and I am the spotter...someday. Until then I will enjoy reading yours and Staci's exploits

Iowabowhunter,

My draw length is a hair over 25"

I'm currently shooting a 56" Stalker Bobcat. It's currently set at 35# @ 25" Thanks to South's "program", I'll be trading in my limbs and moving up in weight this year.

As for the arrows, I'm shooting the Easton Traditionals in 600 spine. I'm shooting them a little long to get the correct spine. 28" with a 150gr tip.
