I hunt primarily with my LH Kodiak Hunter at #50 and shoot split finger.  I use GT blem 500s at 29" with orange 4" RW with a Bear Razorhead without bleeder.  I use a catquiver IV for my hunts.  Last Halloween morning I managed to take a 9pt Missouri buck with it at 15yds.  It is also my go-to bow for the Rinehart 100 the past two years.  A lot of shooters at the R100 are still amazed at the trad folks.  I'm amazed at all the gizmos they need to shoot too.

I have 3 green futurewood Kodiak Hunters in weights of 50,53, and 55. I carried them several times this past season. I didn't set up the 55 this year because I bought it late Octoberish. I draw about 29.5"

55-60 POC shafts
Bear Razorheads
Kanati quiver John made in green to match to the bows.  Both bows shoot the same arrows just fine. They also shoot a 2117 great. I really like the Hunters and shoot them as well as any of my customs.

Here is the 53# during the late season. The solid green shaft is a 2117 with a blunt.

That is a beautiful setup with the matching quiver and arrows.

I killed my first buck with a 1967 58" 48#@28" Kodiak Hunter and the year was 1967.

I will be toting the KH gifted to me by my uncle this year.
It is a 58", 48#@28". I draw it to 29".
I will be shooting 31" 2213s w/ 3" of 2013 internally "footed". Up front will be 200gr VPA two blades.
I'm really hopin to put a buck in the truck with this bow. I think it would mean more to my uncle than myself.

Some hunt to survive; some survive to hunt
