Hello, all I am a long time reader this will be my first post. I got into trad archery shortly before my last deployment and continued to shoot throughout deployment whenever possible. I have recently returned to Alaska, but will be moving back to Chicago soon was wondering if there are any forum members from the area and what there are for clubs or shoots in the area. Thank you all for all the info I have been able absorb.

Many of the state organizations have threads lwer down on the main page.  I don't know about the Chicago area but just north in Wisconsin there are a bunch.  Your state organization can help get you answers.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Welcome and thank you for your service to our country!

Also, Chicago isn't too far from Kalamazoo, Michigan and they have a FANTASTIC trad archery expo there at the end of January. You might be able to meet some guys there and also get to shoot a heck of a lot of bows!
