Katie,

Teresa made me a blaze orange wool pullover a couple of years ago.  I had a zipper added (she wasn't offering zip tops then) and wear it during all gun seasons.

Looks like Evening Stand Brown to me... Great pattern!

Roger Norris

That one is actually Evening Stand Green. The sahdow effect is making it brownish. Honestly, I still have to put the two together to tell the difference sometimes. Both are flat out awesome patterns.

I think her evening stand green pretty much go's with anything out there..It has got to be her number one color choice by looking at all the photo's put up here.....Her poor hands must be tired doing all that sewing for us..Mrs.Teresa you and traditional wool patterns just go together like peanut butter and chocolate    Old Fred must have his own special wardrobe with a different pattern each day of the year....Folks let's keep posting pics and let her know just how much we Appreciate her here...

Keefer, As a matter of fact I do have a few other patterns from Teresa besides the Cedar Swamp vest we have. And don't forget I have an Evening Stand Brown on order as well.
Here is my favorite for hunting from the ground. It's the Montana Magic pattern...

I also wear this pull over vest alot. Can't recall the pattern though..

Last but not least, I usually wear this one under the Montana magic if its really cold..

Fred that middle one is a great color also..I never saw that one before...

Great idea Keefer! A very heartfelt thanks Mrs. Asbell for all that you do! There's a little more than "luck" stitched in each one of your garments! I know that you put your heart into all that you do... May God Bless you beyond all comprehension!!! Well done...            :clapper:

My Evening Stand Green Mackinaw Cape fits over top, just didn't need it that day... Awesome patterns & garments!
My word, wool aside, that's got to be one of the most perfect looking whitetail bucks I have ever seen in my short life. DAAAAAANG!!!

Travis is there much difference in the color in the Evening stand brown from the green? Looks very much the same to me but if someone has both and can lay them side by side that would be great to see...

Keefer- They're both great patterns! My personal thought is the Evening Stand Green shows a little more contrast, where the Evening Stand Brown adds a subtle brown blend... I have both and love them both! To me, they work incredibly well in the field... As you can see in the picture, it works well to mix & match  :goldtooth:

I'll try and get pics up with the two side by side.

I'm so glad we have a thread celebrating Mrs. Asbell's work!  Her pullovers are hands down the greatest piece of bowhunting gear I own.  Comfort, function, and great looks...it doesn't get any better.  I'll take my Asbell wool over clothing costing five times as much, any day!  I picked up my first piece at Kzoo last year, and will be STOCKING UP this year.

This old Teresa shirt has some years and miles on it.  Now that it's cooling down some this season I've started wearing my new hooded shirt in ESB.  Ill probably pick up another in K'zoo this January.  Good stuff, Teresa, Thanks!

Another evening stand green shot....As the deer see it I guess. Had one at 7 yds hunting on the ground the other day and she looked right through me as if I wasn't there...couldn't connect though...long story... :)

Brian,
I was wondering how long it was going to take ya to reply back about that pic  :D    Man that head looks HUGE in that pic...That is Beyond extreme F.O.C...I bet as soon as it left the bow it went straight to the ground....I would of liked to see the hole that broadhead left..

Well, I don't have a pic here, but I am wearing one of Teresa's pullovers in a pic in this issue of Primitive Archer Mag.showing me, Byron Ferguson and the Hunting Editor of Primitive Archer magazine. (I still say the camera added 50 pounds to me, lol)

I've bought two pullovers from Teresa for my wife Rhonda, now, Teresa has gone a made one with a zipper.  I can see another one for Rhonda.

You all need to come to the 2013 Pre-Spring Arrow Fling this coming February in Alabama, Teresa will have her outstanding wool garments here.
