White Elk!

Feeding Elk tonight on my friends ranch I was blessed by the surprise of something unique,A white Elk!
Right now there are about 120 Elk on the property and once winter sets in there will be more.

it's special for sure,over 600 acres of river bottom and quite a few Elk from my area winter there so it's always interesting to see what wonders on the property.

The white elk was a symbol to the Norse of divine blessing and protection to those it allowed the blessing of seeing it.

We have a large herd of Rosies that stay on port property here where I'm at and every few years we'll get a white one but come hunting season it's the first to get nailed.  They are pretty though.
