I was looking over my sons shoulder when he got his first deer (had treestands in two side by side trees) Was doing the same thing, whispering "shoot. shoot"  Watching him shake afterwards was the best. Congratulations man, great feeling!

:clapper:  Way to go bud! Thanks for telling the story. Brought back alot of memories. Thirty years from now it will be just as vivid. I remember my sons first and we are still hunting together and making more memories all these years later. Its a bond that will never be broken, gets better every year!

PHENOMENAL!!!!! I know im not the first to say it but I have tears in my eyes. I can only hope to foster that sort of relationship in my boys as they grow. You are a role model to him and to us aspiring fathers.

Fantastic!!!  Congratualtions to Cade!  I am sure this is the first of many "Cade" stories with the foundations you have laid.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
