This is my first year hunting with trad gear from a blind.  My 60" MOAB is just a little too long.
I'm thinking a max of 56" and my preference would be a longbow (though will settle for a recurve).  My DL is 27".
I've got a couple of K-Mags and 52" works great for me, but would like to hear some other options.
Anybody care to throw out some recommendations?

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.

Hoots 54" I have 2 comming for Christmas one for me and one for my son.And at that short of a draw the 52" hoots would fit.

Black Canyon Sheepeater(47") or Texas Recurve both static tips short.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

You mean this, Kim, right?

Give Lee Hoots a call he usally can get them done in just a few months and has them in 52,54 and 56 "...His bows have no finger pinch and are the perfect bow for ground blinds..I hunt the ground and my 56" little hoots recurve is just right..

The old order is passing. Swiftly receding into memory are the days of strong, earnest men who followed an atavistic yearning to pit their skills against wild animals.

I purchased a blind 2 seasons ago that I can shoot my 62" recurve out of. Its an ameristep I believe the model is harvester.

Birdbow

Chad Frances at Lost Creek Bows built a 54" longbow which I picked up. Perfect in blinds, pop-ups or natural.

If you are looking for a great recurve to shoot out of blind you can't go wrong with st joe river longbows, 56" recurve, super easy to manuver around your typical hub blind. Give Dave and Tracey a shout

56" Pronghorn is a sweet shooting short longbow. I draw 28 1/2" and have no problems with mine. I love my 58" Pronghorn as well. Tough to beat a good ole Pronghorn.
