Finally registered, been reading for a long time.
Been bustin' arrows a long time.
I've used the same bows for many years and was running hot and cold about bowhunting.

A few years ago I had some major health issues. No more high draw weights and basically starting over.

I have been rebuilding my form from the ground up. I had to go all the way back down to 30lbs.

Unlearning 30+ years of bad habits is tough. I realize now that I had been just relying on brute strength to make the bow and arrow do what I wanted.

Well, after losing 100lbs. of unsightly hillbilly, I couldn't use muscle any more. Now I have to follow good, appropriate form. Archery has never been more fun!

Long story, I started looking for a new, lighter weight bow. I saw the hybrid Hitman posted a few days ago.

I sent him the Money order yesterday.

Is it Christmas yet?
The older I get, the better I was.

Welcome to the campfire.

You may be an Old Grouch but you're not alone here, there are more than a few here that are old and if we admitted it, we could possibly be classified "grouchy" as well.

Enjoy your journey and don't be bashful.

Thanks guys. The Old grouch comes from Wifey and my bunch of 20 something employees.

I'm not all that grouchy, just kinda' say what I think, without a lot of sugar coating.

I have been wanting a custom bow for years. When Hitman posted his new one the other day I thought that is real close to my idea, and ready to rock.

I have a business in Alvin, spend a lot of time around Livingston and Woodville. I still have my home in Ky. as well.

I am going back to Ky. next week, gonna' bow hunt while the leaves are still on for the first time in about 12 years.

East of Pikeville. I can see W.Va. from the hilltops.

Actually I live on Big Creek, Hatfield on the maps.
