My buddy George Lynch has been at this bowhunting game for a long time.  He knows   exactly what he wants in his bow grip.  I am very, very happy with the standard TT grip, but George needed a couple tweaks that Brian made for him no problem.

I figured you guys would want to see this Bocote and the choice checkering Brian can put on your riser.

Pictures really don't do this riser justice.  In person, it looks like you could dive right into the wood!

George is a waterfowl hunter par excellance.  His limb veneers are a marsh camo.  Once he sends me a good picture of them, I will post 'em up.  Until then, one more of the nicest Bocote I have ever seen:

Brian has an eye for beauty in the wood.  That a great looking TT.

Ohhhh that is a very pretty peice of Bocote.

Steve, tell George I can give that Bocote riser a good home and he can get himself a camo riser to match his marsh limbs

Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

That's a beauty. George is a good guy!

Guys
I know I promised to give an update on how I liked the new grip, but this knee replacement as my buddy Sergio would say has kicked my Arse.
Can you imagine having this bow hanging in your office for 4 weeks and can't even shoot it!!!

Well, I couldn't take it any longer and from one crutch we started letting the arrows fly...I am beside myself and Brian Wessel I just want thank you in going the extra distance for me. By the pictures you can see that the grip is narrower with more drop and squared off at the heel. Even with my strength being off a little my groups are very good (pure murder at 10 yds. lol).

What i like about this grip for me as I push through the shot the bow cradles perfectly in the palm of my hand and as a end result creates better follow through and tighter groups. Also I will never own a bow with out the checkering...simply aids in the locked and solid placement of the bow.

To me, being in the Waterfowl industry it's such a pleasure to be part of Trad Gang and all the great people I have met and call my friends. I'm sure that there is a bunch of great bowyers on this site and I hope I get to know alot of you...but Brian thanks so much man for what you do and glad to call you a friend.

You guys stay tune for early October...Brian, Mike, Steve O, myself and a few others will be smacking some honkers with the stick and string.

Also any of you guys interested in a TT and would like to talk to me about my grip or close enough to me to shoot it give me a shout.

Brian out did himself once again finding that wood.

Beautiful bow....enjoy and congrats  :clapper:

Nice bow George. I should have my new TT done by the time of the goose roundup. Bloodwood veneers and dyamondwood riser. Brian should be finding time to put snakes on it and checker grips as well. Mike
