I have a Toelke Whip that I have a Great northern quiver on and I like the feel with the quiver on. But you are just going to have to try it and see if you like the feel of the extra weight or not.

I shot a heavy 3 pc recurve for the last 14 years and just switched to a lightweight 1 piece longbow (centaur carbon elite). I find the additional mass of a quiver makes the bow easier to shoot for me. I have both 3 and 4 arrow EFA quivers but prefer the 4 arrow on it. They are small light quivers. To each there own.

I like a quiver on my longbow...I like the little extra weight and having my arrows tight to the bow makes walking through tight spots easier to manage.

I hate bow quivers on any bow. I love a bow quiver.   :bigsmyl:

i've got a bow quiver on my Belcher Longhorn, haven't used a back quiver...

John Dill

I'll throw away my bow before I shoot it without a bow quiver. Even Squanto liked a little bow weight to steady his shot.

Randy Koleno

I use an EFA 3-arrow quiver on my Mohawks and 21st century longbows. They are easy to take off and put back on if I decide to stay in one spot for awhile. I can't tell a difference in how the bows shoot with or without the quiver. If bad weather is expected, I'll use my arrowmaster.

After drooling for awhile I finally found a little Shrew Classic Hunter. It's the kind of lightweight bow that can benefit from having a lightweight quiver on it. The two together are a dream team.

What? Of course it was an EFA!     :archer2:

I feel naked without my 3 arrow EFA.  That's all I need.  If I can't connect with 3 arrows, then I shouldn't be in the woods that day...tippit

Great northern strap on! Gotta have a quiver on my bow.

Tippit, that's my kind of setup. No frills, just the essentials, and great results. Nice bear!

I have one on my Pronghorn and like it but don't like it on my Shrew CH (it feels to big on the Shrew).

To each his own. I personally prefer to hunt with an EFA strap on bow quiver attached to my long bow. Thinking seriously about ordering one of their new style quivers, just havn't seen one up close and personal as of yet. As for affecting arrow-flite, I have yet to see a noticable difference. With that said, I do not shoot 3-d with the quiver attached.   :archer2:

I love bow quivers.  Simple, quiet, and for western hunting where you are moving through country most of the time, they don't bug me like back and side quivers do.  I use Selway slide-ons, but there are a bunch of nice ones out there.  The Selway is dirt simple and I have one that has to be 20+ years old thats been abused, rained on, and baked in the sun but still going strong.

As already stated personal preferrence. For ME...

I have an EFA quiver on my Liberty Contender LB.  I like the little extra weight.  Ken
