I like a black bow and the moccasins skins look good on it.swamp moccasin

Bob,
Glad the skin worked out so well, the bow looks great. I really like the take-down system Jim is using.

Personal endearing name for a centaur would be 'Argento'...one of the horses taken from Maximus in the movie Gladiator.

Sweet looking bow and I know it will shoot great as all of Jim's bows do!!! Congrats!! I agree with Friend, going along with the Centaur names seems only appropriate.
May your arrow always fly true and your hunt be an adventure.

Fellow TragGang members.  Bow arrived this morning, and by lunch was strung, braced at 6 3/4" (per Jim's suggestion as starting point) and 20 arrows put through it (quickly) over my lunch break.

Arrows a mixed bag (Traditions Only, Axis Eichler Axis, MFX's) in both 400 and 500 spine, 180-200 grain fieldpoints.  At 20 yards, my first 5 arrows where in a grouping of 5"!  I'm pleased!

Taking this bow down to Mount Pleasant, NC this Saturday for lessons with Ben Graham of Hummingbird bows!  As far as name, I'm leaning towards Umbra Mortis "Shadow of Death" in Latin! Thanks for indulging me!
