It was a fun and heart pounding moment for sure , and thats what I live for. The skull is out back in the cage now , will let the bugs work on it a while and after I boil it I will post the pics.

And yes several years ago I had a similar hunt where I did not hit the head , and that one broke both lower bones in my left leg. He was a much bigger hog and was not wounded he was just plain mean. The shot I hit him with killed him just not in time , I have his skull also........
