Got out again on the morning of the 14th. We hunted a new ladder stand in a cedar/juniper type tree. Saw 14 does and a couple bucks go within shooting distance of another stand in a pin oak across the field. The bucks were not big, but a tasty doe will be in order when the wind is right for that stand.
 

Leaves are at full color right now.

The next morning the wind was right for the stand all the deer walked by.
 

When a big doe paused at 15 yards, Hope delivered a Woodsman tipped carbon and closed the deal.

I saw the arrow enter the heart, and she entered the pond's wood line for two bound then turned right for 4 more bound and was down.

He's some better pics....
