Hey guys,

Looking through a catalog and trying to get some parts together for a new batch of arrows.  Can I get some insights on the different types of glue on nocks.  I have always used the bohning classics but looking to branch out.  So pros and cons of the available nocks????

You could try some Mercury nocks.

Just received some AAE FROM 3R in 9/32, look really nice.  :thumbsup:
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

Should mention that I am looking for glue on nocks for wooden shafts.  Thanks for the inputs so far fellas.  I know this might seem like a trivial thing to some but it seems to me that nocks are a real important part of the equation and that people just tend to gloss over it and buy whatever is cheapest???

No matter what other nocks I try, I always end up back with the Bohning Classics as my favorite.  Good luck.

Just because you are passionate about something, doesn't mean you don't suck at it.

They are terribly important. So is putting them on straight. So is the fit of them to your bowstring. That is where the arrow's thrust begins, and like a child, an arrow needs the best start it can get.

I like a thickish serving, so I use Mercury nocks. They feel good in my fingers, and I usually don't need to widen them. I use nock adapters so I can use them on my Gold Tips.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
