In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

How close to denver is this shoot? I have a niece in Denver and would like a chance to come veisit her (and shoot in a 3D shoot in the mtns too, of course).

Looks like a great weekend and you got some awesome animal pics too.

Bisch - I would say it is approx. 200 miles from Denver.

I really need to get to this shoot one of these years!  Maybe next year I'll pull out of Michigan after the Compton rendezvous and just keep heading west....

Great pictures!!

Bisch, there are  couple of local clubs that are open to shoot at in the foothills just outside of Denver. Ever make it up this way I can take you to them.

Jason it was a pleasure to meet you, and looks like I should have come with you to look at animals. If you haven't been to this shoot, you are missining out. The best shoot in the country! I t was great to meet a lot of ne great guys, I just wished I had more time to shoot.
I was finally able to meet Tracy (Shedrock) what a great guy and fun to bs with. I finally got to meet Jake as well, as we have been trying to hook up for some time. I also met Felix from Italy, a class act and a gentleman for sure. Oh and a heck of a shot! Plus it was fun to be set up next to South and talk bowhunting and stickbows during the down time of the crowds.
A great event and one I won't be missing for quite some time!!!

Great pics! Looks like we almost met.  I should have recognized you from previous pics/posts.  Great weekend.  Got to meet lots of new folks and some I haven't seen in a while. My 5 year old Ryan still thinks Felix swam from Italy with his bow on his back. Our shady camp spot turned into a dust bowl. My boy says we should have been smart like Tater and camped up top near his cool truck.

Fantastic group of folks for kids to be around.  Steadman, Ryan says (direct quote when I told him I was writing a note) "Thank you for the stickers and have a great day".

It was a great shoot again!  We had over 400 shooters.  Once again I didn't get any photos of the great ranges.  So many of the shots look so real.  Thanks for posting pics guys.

I'm hoping my son will give me a few tips on form.

Everyone comments on how solid he is for a 5 year old (any year old really) and then they watch me shoot and ask who taught him...!?! :^)
